Glenville Hill, along with Beukendaal and West Glenville Fire departments were called to the scene of a single vehicle into a telephone pole with wires down on Sacandaga Road. Responders had to wait for National Grid to arrive on scene to de-energize the primary wires that were down in the area and arcing to the ground.
The driver was, fortunately, uninjured, although the vehicle didn’t fare nearly as well. Once power was turned off, the driver was able to exit the vehicle under his own power.
